Biography,education and selected exhibitions

1948-born in Belarus
1972- graduated (MA in Public Art) from the State Academy of Fine Art and Drama, Minsk, Belarus

After graduating for 15 years had been working as an artist–designer in the State Public Art company, taking part in projects, involving murals, sculptures, stained glass ,tapestry and ceramic.
But dissatisfaction with the official propaganda art brought him to the Nonconformist movement in the Soviet Art and secretly he has started to develop his own style in painting.

1987- was allowed to exhibit his works.

1990- First exhibition in London


Since 1990 lives and works in London
